I am a former football player and when I stopped playing I got to around 348 lbs I also am 41 years old so I didnt gain all that wieght overnight so I took the approach that I was in it for the long haul, I have been on atkins for a total of 8 months and have lost 62 lbs as you can imagine I feel alot better.

I suggest you keep to it and drink lots of water, I have felt so good I started working out again and getting in shape something that I had no energy to do for a lot of years.

Be patience and follow the diet to the letter and you will see results and also in that time my blood pressure and everything actaully went down and I am so pelased with the results, I will say this though and I dont know if it is healthy or not but I never went off induction in those 8 months, also there have been times where I have cheated and got right back on induction and kept the weight off, so good luck.
