Connies Fried Cheese Munchies
| Spray small, non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Cover bottom of pan with slices of cheese, any type you choose. "Scramble" with a spoon so cheese completely covers bottom of skillet. Fry til golden brown on bottom, then flip and brown the other side.
Many variations such as adding pepperoni, breakfast sausage, bacon bits, etc.
Cooking longer will make a crispy cheese chip that can be used for dipping or as a cracker. Shorter cooking time will create a softer version that can be topped with a low carb sloppy-jo mix, mushrooms, halved meatballs, etc. Or put another fried cheese on top, forming a "sandwich".
You can fry more cheese in a medium sized frypan, wait til it will fold like an omelette, and stuff it with something to your liking.
These are great as a "side dish" to accompany that meat on your plate!
